Equestrian Games Bus Blitz Coming to Western Kentucky
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Representatives of the Kentucky Department of Travel & Tourism, Alltech and the FEI World Equestrian Games will be touring 19 cities in western and central Kentucky during the week of June 21 - 25 to raise awareness of this world-class sporting event to be held at the Kentucky Horse Park Sept. 25 - Oct. 10, 2010.
Face-to-face interviews will be arranged for all interested media. Staff will also be meeting with the general public in parks, stores and restaurants to build excitement for the equestrian games and The Kentucky Experience, an Epcot-like exhibition of Kentucky culture to be held in conjunction with the games at the Horse Park.
The bus tour will stop in Horse Cave, Bowling Green and Hopkinsville on June 21; Cadiz, Hardin, Murray, Mayfield and Paducah on June 22; Princeton, Dawson Springs, Madisonville and Henderson on June 23; Owensboro, Greenville, Rosine and Leitchfield on June 24; and Radcliff, Hodgenville and Bardstown on June 25.
