Newport, Ky. -- Newport on the Levee guests will now have another opportunity for an exciting experience while at this top regional entertainment and dining destinations. The Levee's Valet Circle will be the central pick-up location for the River Rats pedicabs, a "cab" pulled by a bicycling driver. This service is very popular in many tourist locations throughout the country and will complement the venue's other unique features.

Patrons can park at the Levee, play and dine -- and then take a pedicab to Reds and Bengals games, visit a concert or play, return to their hotel, or just look at all the sites in Covington, Newport and downtown Cincinnati.

Rates will vary by day and time and are based on the number of guests riding in the pedicab, with three guests as a maximum. Private event reservations such as weddings, picnics, and parties can be arranged.

The pedicab service, operated by River Rats, LLC, will provide Levee guests a friendly, safe and fun method of transportation around Newport on the Levee and other communities in the area. The pedicab service will be offered on the weekends and will expand to weekday service in the spring of 2006. 

Because the River Rats pedicabs are expected to be a popular feature at the Levee, the parent company, River Rats LLC, is seeking friendly, qualified drivers with a valid driver's license, good references, a clean driving record and a rudimentary knowledge of bicycle mechanics.
