Frankfort, KY – Bursting forth in its sixth year of bloom, Wildflower Watch is once again promoting the beauty and events of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  The program was initiated by the Kentucky Department of Tourism and Department of Parks to assist travelers in planning their spring travel throughout the state.

April 6 through mid-May, Wildflower Watch will:  provide information on wildflower activity, list events for the coming weekend, and highlight a nature preserve each week.  Weekly updates will be issued on Wednesdays and can be viewed on the Wildflower Watch link online at www.kentuckytourism.com. Updates also can be obtained by calling Kentucky’s Travel Consultants at 800-225-TRIP (8747) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
