LOUISVILLE, KY (October 13, 2004) … Harold Workman, President & CEO of the Kentucky State Fair Board, was honored as this year’s “Communicator of the Year” by the Kentucky chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Bluegrass chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Recognized for his work and leadership in positioning the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center, the Kentucky International Convention Center, the city of Louisville and the Commonwealth of Kentucky as top competitors in the convention and trade show industry, Workman became the 14th recipient of the award during the 22nd annual IABC/PRSA Landmarks of Excellence Awards, held on October 12 at the Kentucky Derby Museum.
