HILARY DUFF’S “STILL MOST WANTED” TOUR 2005 COMING TO THE KENTUCKY STATE FAIR
LOUISVILLE, KY (June 9, 2005) … Music, film and television star Hilary Duff will make a stop on her Still Most Wanted Tour 2005 to perform at the Kentucky State Fair Friday, August 19 at 8 p.m. in Freedom Hall. Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 18 at 10 a.m. and are $41, which includes Fair admission.
Duff’s two pop-rock albums, Metamorphosis and Hilary Duff, are certified platinum and reached number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The hit single “So Yesterday,” one of four Top 40 hits for Duff in less than two years, reached number one on the pop singles chart and topped the Hot 100 Singles Sales chart for two weeks. In 2004 she won Best New Female Artist at the World Music Awards and Favorite Female Singer at the Kids Choice Awards. Duff performed in the “America’s Future Rocks Today” concert at the 2005 Presidential Inauguration in January.
Duff has lit up the music, film and television industry since her 2001 television debut with the starring role in the Disney Channel’s hit show “Lizzie McGuire.” Her roles in movies such as “Cheaper by the Dozen,” “A Cinderella Story” and the upcoming “The Perfect Man” have earned Duff movie star status and a Kids Choice Award for Favorite Movie Actress.
