HOPKINSVILLE NATIVE BRICE LONG TO OPEN FOR TRACE ADKINS AT THE KENTUCKY STATE FAIR
LOUISVILLE, KY … The 101st Kentucky State Fair will include yet another performer in its already packed free concert lineup. Country music singer/songwriter Brice Long has been added as the opening act for Trace Adkins on Saturday, August 27 in Cardinal Stadium at 8 p.m. General admission to the 101st Kentucky State Fair will allow fans into this free concert sponsored by Fifth Third Bank.
Long, a native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, signed with Sony Records in 2004 and released his first single, “It’s Only Monday,” in June of 2005. He has written songs recorded by John Michael Montgomery, Darryl Worley, Randy Travis and Gary Allan, including Allan’s number one hit “Nothing On But the Radio.”
Adkins, a platinum selling artist and member of the Grand Ole Opry, will return to the Kentucky State Fair with hits from his latest CD Songs About Me. Expect to hear hits like “Rough & Ready,” “Chrome” and “This Ain’t No Thinkin’ Thing” during one of country music’s highest-energy shows.
