KENTUCKY STATE FAIR MEDIA ADVISORY & PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
WHAT: Media preview of Kaleidoscope Discovery Zone, the new 22,000 square foot educational exhibit that serves as a large-scale, interactive learning center and welcomes more than 10,000 schoolchildren annually through its “Ultimate Field Trip” program. Divided into three main areas, the exhibit will feature: SQI Lab: The Science of Tsunamis The SQI Lab (where Science Questions are Investigated) delves into the secrets of what really happens during earthquakes and tsunamis. Project Global: Asia Transporting fairgoers to another part of the planet without actually leaving the Fair, Project Global will examine the geography and culture of a different continent each year, beginning with the largest – Asia. Kentucky by the Book Bringing the exhibit closer to home, Kentucky by the Book is a sampler of Kentucky literature, geography and history.
