On Friday, February 10, 2012, the General Assembly passed and Governor Steve Beshear signed into law House Bill 302, which redefines the boundaries for congressional districts in Kentucky. The bill provides that the deadline for congressional candidates to file their nomination papers for the 2012 primary is February 17, 2012, at 4 p.m.
