A drawing to determine ballot positions for candidates with primary opposition for U.S. President, U.S Senate, U.S. Congress, Kentucky House and Senate seats, and non-partisan races will be 2 p.m. EST, Thursday, January 29, in the Secretary of State's Office.

Candidates can attend to draw for themselves or a representative of the Attorney General's Office will draw for them. The drawing determines the order in which names appear on the ballot for the May 18 primary election.

“By no later than February 9, our office will certify to county clerks across the Commonwealth the names and ballot order of candidates to be printed for the May primary,” stated Secretary of State Trey Grayson.
