Kentucky voters will now have immediate access to a variety of voter information through the Kentucky State Board of Elections website.

Secretary of State Trey Grayson, the chief elections officer of the Commonwealth and Chairman of the State Board of Elections, and Sarah Ball Johnson, Executive Director of the State Board, announced today that Kentucky voters can now access information about their voter registration including precinct number and polling location. The site will also provide access to contact information for every County Clerk’s office in the Commonwealth.

“The State Board of Elections is excited to offer this service to the voters of Kentucky,” Secretary Grayson stated.  “This should help to reduce voter confusion prior to their arrival at polls.”

The site also helps voters identify legislative information such as their state house and senate districts, along with their United States congressional districts.

Director Johnson stated that “it is our hope that this will increase voter’s ability to study the candidates prior to an election so that they may make the most informed decision possible on Election Day.” The site also includes links to voters’ currently elected officials.

The State Board of Elections and the County Clerk's office were supplied with the information provided on this site by each individual voter when they registered to vote. If the information appears to be incorrect or there is an error, voters should contact their County Clerk.

The Voter Information Center can be accessed through the State Board of Elections website at www.kyelect.com.
