SECRETARY GRIMES ANNOUNCES STATE BOARD OF ELECTIONS SPECIAL MEETING

Kentucky’s Secretary of State and Chief Election Official, Alison Lundergan Grimes, announced today that the State Board of Elections will conduct a special board meeting at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at which time it will certify the vote totals for the May 22nd Primary Election and issue Certificates of Nomination to candidates who received the highest number of votes in the Primary.

As required by KRS 61.823, the agenda for the special meeting is attached. The State Board will convene at the State Board of Elections located at 140 Walnut Street, Frankfort, Kentucky.
