National Trails Day
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Pine Mountain State Resort Park near Pineville will observe National Trails Day, June 3, with a hiking adventure through Blanton Forest, which preserves one of the largest stands of old-growth trees in the Eastern United States.

The tour will leave the park lodge at 10 a.m. and the first nine registrants will be offered van transportation to the forest. The hike will be limited to 20.
