Oil Painting Weekend Set For March 23-25 At Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. – If you’ve always wanted to learn to oil paint, then Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park has a weekend for you.

 

Oil Painting Weekend will be March 23-25 for beginners and more experienced artists. The instructor is Walter Kunkle, who studied under Bob Ross, who hosted the television program “The Joy of Painting.”

 

Participants will learn the “wet on wet” method by painting their own 16 by 20 landscape. Kunkle will welcome the group on Friday evening.

 

The package price of $165 includes the painting course, materials, and two nights lodging in a lodge room.  The painting class only is $60. Space is limited to 15 people and the registration deadline is March 19.
