Carter Caves to Host Night Golf Scramble

OLIVE HILL, Ky. -- Carter Caves State Resort Park will hold a nighttime golf scramble on Friday July 10, 2009.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. with a shotgun start for the first nine holes. Dinner will be served at 9 p.m., with the last nine holes starting at 10 p.m. The two-person format scramble will require an entry fee of $40 per person. The fee includes golf with cart, dinner, and first and second place trophies. You should bring your own flash light. Proceeds benefit the Kentucky Employees Charitable Campaign.

Carter Caves State Resort Park features cave tours, hiking, boating and fishing, as well as golf. The park has a lodge, restaurant, cabins and campgrounds. It is located at 344 Caveland Dr. in Olive Hill, Ky. 41164. From I-64 take exit # 161, and turn off exit onto U.S. 60 East. Go approximately 2 miles and turn left onto KY 182 North. Follow KY 182 2 miles to park entrance.
