Green River Lake Welcomes Campers with Special Weekend
FRANKFORT, Ky. – As the peak camping season begins, Green River Lake State Park near Campbellsville will welcome guests with a Camper Appreciation Weekend, scheduled for April 28-30.
The park will offer two camping nights for the price of one. Arrive Friday night and pay the usual rate, and get Saturday night free.
The park also will mark the reopening of its 18-hole miniature golf course in a ceremony scheduled for 10 a.m. EDT on April 28. J.P. Blevins, the Department of Parks’ director of recreation, will join in re-opening ceremonies. Free mini-golf will be offered all day Friday and Saturday.
