Greenbo Lake Offers Great Escape Weekend Jan. 25-26

GREENUP, Ky. – Looking for a cure for those winter blues? Greenbo Lake State Resort Park has the remedy – a Great Escape Weekend on Jan. 25-26.

 

The park is offering a weekend package that includes crafts, a nature hike, games and entertainment during the weekend. The package includes two nights for a family of four for $120. (Children 16 and under are free.)

 

The events begin Friday at 7:30 p.m. with a magic show by Dr. Mirage. And on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Argillite Elementary and Wurtland Middle schools will provide music and a presentation of “The Wizard of Oz.”

 

Both evening programs are free and open to the public.

 

Greenbo Lake State Resort Park in Greenup has a lodge, Anglers’ Cove Restaurant, amphitheater, campground, gift shop and 23 miles of multi-use hiking trails.
