FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Department of Parks has reissued a request for proposal for a lodge, conference center and restaurant at Green River Lake State Park near Campbellsville.

The request seeks a developer to build and operate a resort at the park along the 8,200-acre lake. The park currently has a campground with 157 sites, mini-golf, 28 miles of multi-purpose trails and a privately-operated marina.

The RFP calls for a lodge with at least 50 rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant, gift shop and other amenities offered at most state resort parks. Unlike the first RFP issued earlier this year, this RFP does not call for a golf course at Green River Lake. The development of a golf course will depend upon funding from the legislature.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Nov. 1. More information about the project is available at http://eprocurement.ky.gov/
