Call for Arts and Crafts for General Butler State Resort Park August Event

General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton is gearing up for the annual Goldenrod Gala, a juried arts and crafts festival that includes music, entertainers and food.  Held on the park grounds on Saturday, August 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the gala committee is seeking applications from artisans interested in participating in the event.

This year stands to be a repeat of last year’s successful event, which drew several thousand people who came to see musical performances, a car and tractor show, and craft demonstrations.

To apply for booth space contact Mandy Parker or Rhonda Welch at the Carroll County Extension Service at 502-732-7030 or email Rhonda.Welch@uky.edu.  Additional information about the gala is on line at www.goldenrodgala.com.
