Fort Boonesborough Car Show Slated

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Ice Pack Car Club “Spring Break Mini-Nationals” will be held Saturday, April 22-23, at Fort Boonesborough State Park near Richmond. Proceeds will benefit Kentucky Cystic Fibrosis Services.

 

On Saturday, April 22, the show will feature the top 25 motorcycles. Awards will be presented to the Best of Show, Best Domestic Bike, Best Sport Bike, the Best Original Bike, and the Best Special Interest Bike

 

Also on Saturday, early registration will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the following day’s car and truck show. The evening will conclude with a chili supper and a performance from a live band from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

 

On Sunday, April 23, the program will feature the top 100 cars and trucks, including the top 75 from 1980 and earlier and the top 25 from 1981 to the present. Awards will be presented to Best of Show (1980 and Older), Best of Show (1981 to Present), Best Chevy, Best Ford, Best Mopar, Best Street Rod, Best Truck, Best Import, Best 4x4, Best Original and Best Special Interest.

 

The Iceman’s D.J. Services from Winchester will spin tunes for Sunday’s event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Dash Plaques will be presented to the first 200 registered vehicles. Registration is $10 before April 7 or $15 on the day of the show. The cost to spectators is just $1 per person. Children 12 and younger are admitted for free. Concessions will be provided by the Ice Pack Car Club and Cystic Fibrosis Services.
