Fitness 'Bootcamp' on Tap at Barren River State Park April 17-19
LUCAS, Ky. -- Barren River Lake State Resort Park will stage a “Fun, Fabulous Fitness Bootcamp” Friday through Sunday, April 17-19, 2009.
Is it time for a girls’ night out? Then call your friends and recruit them to attend our first ever women’s Fun Fit Fabulous Bootcamp. This will be a weekend of: Fun – join us for a movie and popcorn on Friday evening and other fun relaxing moments throughout the weekend; Fitness — sessions to make you fit both mentally and physically; Fabulous — how you will feel when you complete the weekend; Bootcamp – a fun, group-exercise program that will kick-start your fitness program or offer a change to your existing program that begins on Saturday morning as your “drill sergeant” knocks on your door.
You’ll find a great getaway for only $150 per person based on quad occupancy. Package rates increase for single or double occupancy. The package includes two nights lodging in one of our lodge-vicinity cottages, Saturday lunch, healthy snacks, Sunday breakfast and all the activities beginning on Friday evening.
So call your friends, lace up your shoes, put on some comfortable clothes and come to Barren River for a weekend of fun. As with any exercise program, please be sure to consult your physician before participating.
