Fireside Chats Start Jan. 27 At Fort Boonesborough
RICHMOND, Ky. – Fort Boonesborough State Park and the Fort Boonesborough Foundation will be holding a series of “Fireside Chats” with famous characters from Kentucky history beginning Jan. 27.
During each Saturday program, the fort gift shop will be open from 4:45-6:45 p.m. and there will be a “Taste of Frontier Fare” from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. The program begins at 7 p.m. at the block house.

Jan. 27: Daniel Boone by Steve Caudill
Feb. 3: William Whitley by Matt Bryant
Feb. 10: Isaac Shelby by Mel Hankla
Feb. 17: Ann McGinty by Melanie Kuntz (Antique appraisal 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.; $10 per item, three for $25)
Feb. 24: George Rogers Clark by Mel Hankla
Tickets are $15 for adults or $25 for a couple. Children 12 and under are $5 each. Reservations are required due to limited seating. Fort Boonesborough is located near Richmond. From I-75, take exit 95 to KY 627. On I-64, exit at Winchester to KY 627.
