International Migratory Bird Day At Pennyrile Forest May 12
DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. – Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park will celebrate International Migratory Bird Day on May 12 with a variety of activities.
The day’s activities include an early bird hike at 8:30 a.m. CT, a presentation on bird migration at 1 p.m., a free poster to participants, bird games for kids at 2 p.m. and arts and crafts at 4 p.m. All events are free and open to the public. Meet at the park lodge.
Pennyrile Forest State Park has a lodge, cottages, restaurant, gift shop, 18-hole golf course, campground, boat rentals, swimming, mini-golf, hiking trails and picnic areas. For information, call 1-800-325-1711.
