Adventure Pennyrile Forest Set For March 26
DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. – Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park will host “Adventure Pennyrile Forest” on March 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The day features a naturalist-guided hike. All the trails at Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park may be hiked for a registration fee of $25 per person.
The fee covers lunch at Clifty Creek Restaurant and naturalist-guided hikes. Registered participants can get a 10 percent discount off park lodging. The trails vary in difficulty from easy to difficult. Total distance of the hike is approximately six miles.

Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park has a lodge, cottages, Clifty Creek Restaurant, golf, mini-golf, gift shop, fishing and hiking trails. The resort is 20 miles northwest of Hopkinsville, on KY 109 N. From the Western Kentucky Parkway, exit at Dawson Springs and take KY 109 south.
