Discounted Tickets Available For Perryville Reenactment Through Sept. 22

PERRYVILLE, Ky. – Discount tickets for the Battle of Perryville, scheduled for Oct. 7-8 at Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site, are on sale through Friday, Sept. 22.

The battle will be the year’s premiere national Civil War reenactment and is expected to drawn thousands of reenactors and visitors.

            Visitors will have the opportunity to save money and time by buying advance tickets. A discount of $3 applies to both the one-day ticket, regularly priced at $15, and the two-day pass, which will cost $20 at the gate.

            Holders of advance tickets will bypass the main admission line to the event.

            Advance tickets are available by calling or visiting the park. For more information on the weekend, contact the park at (859) 332-8631.             Full-price tickets may be purchased in advance at the park after Sept. 22.

            Visitors are encouraged to arrive early because of the time it takes to park and get to the state park and the expected crowds. Parking will take place at Perryville in Boyle County and buses will take visitors to the park. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for walking.

            No dogs are permitted at the park unless they are service dogs.
