Pennyrile Forest Hosts Santa and Holiday Craft Workshop Dec. 8

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky.Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park will host Santa and a holiday craft workshop on Saturday, Dec. 8.

 

The craft workshop will be open from noon to 4 p.m. and requires a $20 fee and a registration by Dec. 3. Crafts include a class on making Gingerbread Houses by local expert Mary Adams. Photos for children with Santa will be 5-7 p.m. There will also be a buffet dinner at the Clifty Creek Restaurant from 5-8 p.m.

 

Participants in the craft workshop are eligible for a 10 percent lodging discount. For information, call 1-800-325-1711.

 

Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park has a lodge, cottages, campground, Clifty Creek Restaurant, golf, mini-golf, gift shop, fishing, boating and hiking trails. The resort is 20 miles northwest of Hopkinsville, on KY 109 N. From the Western Kentucky Parkway, exit at Dawson Springs and take KY 109 south.
