Weekday Camping Discounts Offered at Kentucky State Parks During October

FRANKFORT, Ky. – October is a great month to get outside and enjoy some camping and fall colors. The Kentucky State Parks are offering a camping discount good Sunday through Thursday night, so start packing!

A 20 percent discount is offered for most Kentucky State Parks campgrounds Sunday through Thursday nights Oct. 2 through Oct. 31.

The discount applies to new reservations and cannot be combined with any other discounts.

The offer is good at all state park campgrounds except three: Fort Boonesborough, Cumberland Falls and Nolin Lake.

To make reservations, campers can visit www.parks.ky.gov and click on the reservation link for campgrounds. The promotion code for this discount is “OCT11.” Campers may also call 1-888-4KYPARK to make reservations by phone.

Kentucky State Park campgrounds offer water, electric services, and a fire ring. Most campgrounds have playgrounds and bathhouses.
