May Discounts at Kentucky State Parks

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The month of May should bring warmer temperatures and sunny skies and the Kentucky State Parks want to invite you to enjoy them during a stay at one of its parks.

 

The parks are offering more discount deals at several resort parks during May. The discounts include both lodge rooms and cottages. Coupons for the deals are available at www.parks.ky.gov (click on the “Discounts” tab) These discounts are great deals for fishing trips, a short vacation, or just an excuse to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors.

 

All resort parks include a restaurant and other amenities such as hiking trails, recreational activities, golf, boating, fishing and more. Here are the parks offering May discounts:

 

Blue Licks Battlefield: Two nights for $99 Sunday through Thursday through May 26. Call 1-800-443-7008.

 

Cumberland Falls: One bedroom cottage Sunday through Thursdays for $99 through May 15. (Two bedroom cottage for $149.) Lodge rooms Sunday through Thursday for $59 May 1-12. Call 1-800-325-0063.

 

Greenbo Lake: Lodge room for $29 Sunday through Wednesday through May 25. Call 1-800-325-0083.

 

Kenlake: Lodge rooms for $59 Sunday through Thursday through May 26. Call 1-800-325-0143.

 

Lake Cumberland: Lodge rooms for $59 Sunday through Thursday through May 26. Call 1-800-325-1709.

 

Natural Bridge: One bedroom cottages $99.95 Sunday through Thursday during May. Two bedroom cottages for $109.95. Two-night lodge stays for $119 Sunday through Thursday through May 26. Sunday night lodge rooms in May for $49. (Excludes May 29). Call 1-800-325-1710.

 

Pennyrile Forest: Two nights for $99 through May 26 and Mondays in May for $49. (Excludes May 30). Cottages Sunday through Thursday for $65 (one bedroom) and $75 (two bedroom) during May.

 

Prices do not include taxes. Limited number of rooms and cottages available. Discounts based on availability; not to be used with other offers.

 

In addition to these discounts, the Kentucky State Parks are also offering coupons good for free children’s admission to museums and historic sites, as well as a golf discount card. All 17 resort parks are also offering the annual Mother’s Day Buffet from noon to 8 p.m. on May 8.
