FRANKFORT, Ky. – The opportunity to paint and draw amid the serene, natural beauty of John James Audubon State Park in Henderson awaits participants in the park’s Spring Artist Retreat, scheduled for Friday, April 14.

During the event, artists are invited to bring their art materials and creative vision to enjoy creating in the peaceful gardens and trails of the park, or in the park’s modern museum. The event ends with a group critique of the art work produced during the day. Also scheduled are a brief presentation by an art supply vendor and an optional wildflower hike.

The Spring Artist Retreat is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CST. The registration fee is $15.  A second retreat is scheduled for May 26.
