Adult Art Classes Offered At John James Audubon Museum

HENDERSON, Ky. – The Audubon Adult Art Series offers a great experience for any artist, beginning to advanced.

 

Whether you are starting from scratch or just need a refresher course, don’t miss the grand opportunities in 2012 at the John James Audubon State Park Museum. Exhilarate your creative side by taking any or all of the classes designed just for you.

 

January starts off with “Basic Design,” which is a very basic class on the fundamentals of art. This class, as well as the others, will be a 3-week series. Each is uniquely designed for the specific mediums of color pencils, soft pastels and watercolors. All instructors are highly qualified in their specific areas of art. Adults and students ages 14 and older may participate in the series of classes.

 

The classes are offered on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m.-noon.

For more information on a specific class, a supply list or registration, contact Kim McGrew-Liggett at the museum by calling 270-827-1893.  All participants must pre-register one week prior to the date of class. Each 3-week session is $45 or you may pay by class, $20. All participants are responsible for their own supplies.
