Greenbo Lake Offers Two Creative Memories Scrapbooking Weekends In January
GREENUP, Ky. – Greenbo Lake State Park will be hosting two weekends for its Creative Memories Scrapbooking on Jan. 14-15 and Jan. 21-22, 2011.
Creative Memories present two weekends designed for the experienced and the novice scrapbooker. All participants must bring their own scrapbook and materials. Scrapbooks and materials can be purchased for an additional fee.
Registration and classes begin Friday evening at 6 p.m. and continue all day Saturday. There will also be scrapbooking all day on Sunday for those who want to stay late. Greenbo Lake is offering a package for $115 that includes for two night’s lodging for two and a continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings. The scrapbooking registration fee is $45 and includes a goody bag and instructions.

Greenbo Lake State Resort Park is on KY 1, 18 miles north of I-64 from Grayson exit or 8 miles south of U.S. 23, the Country Music Highway on KY 1. Greenbo Lake features the Jesse Stuart Lodge with 36 rooms, a convention center and Anglers’ Cove Restaurant. The park has a 225-acre lake for boating and fishing, tennis courts, 25 miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. The campground is open April 1 through October 31. Greenbo Amphitheatre features musical concerts and plays during the summer and fall.
