CARROLLTON, Ky. – General Butler State Resort Park will be the place for our four-legged friends on Sept. 13 for “Woofstock 2014.”

The day will go to the dogs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as the park and Carroll County Animal  Support present crafts and food, dog contests, sessions on obedience, a blessing of the pets, representatives from area shelters and more. There are also hiking trails and other things for people, too!

The park is also seeking any interested vendors for this event. Call 1-866-462-8853 for information.

The park’s 53 lodge rooms feature a private balcony or patio overlooking the pool or hillside. This hilltop resort is the essence of river town charm, featuring the warm glow of polished brass and rich woodwork. Enjoy tennis courts, basketball courts, hiking trails and free Wi-Fi.

General Butler State Resort Park also has Two Rivers Restaurant, cottages, campground, gift shop, and a golf course.
