Fort Boonesborough State Park 5K Run/Walk Set for Nov. 11

RICHMOND, Ky. – The Fort Boonesborough State Park 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m.

 

This event helps raise money for the Fort Boonesborough Foundation, which provides programming and financial support to the state park. More than 80 runners and walkers participated last year.

 

Check in and registration will be from 8-9:45 a.m. at the park campground. The entry fee is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 10 and under. All participants will receive a t-shirt.

 

Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers, along with age group awards.

 

The park is located on the Kentucky River on the Madison County/Clark County line
