Photo Weekend Planned At Blue Licks Battlefield Oct. 14-15
MOUNT OLIVET, Ky. – Photographers who want to learn more about outdoor and nature photography should make plans to visit Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park Oct. 14-15, 2011.
Tom Patrick of Georgetown, Ohio, will serve as the instructor for this weekend of fall photography. The weekend will start Friday at 6 p.m. with a discussion on techniques and equipment. Participants will spend Saturday taking photos around the Licking River and the park, for critiques and discussion later in the day.

The cost for the weekend photography session is $90 per person. There are special lodging rates for participants, so call the park at 1-800-443-7008 for information and lodging reservations.
Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park has a lodge, cottages, campground, Hidden Waters Restaurant, Pioneer Museum and Store, gift shop, miniature golf, picnic areas and hiking trails. The resort is located 45 miles northeast of Lexington off historic Highway 68.
