Buckhorn Lake Country Buffet Set For May 7

BUCKHORN, Ky. -- Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park will hold a Country Buffet on May 7, 2011 featuring the best country fare east of the Mississippi.

 

Rib-tickling entrees will include barbeque ribs, fried chicken, catfish and roast beef with satisfying sides of fried potatoes with onions, corn on the cob, green beans and baked beans.  Enjoy mouth-watering desserts of blackberry cobbler, chocolate cake, banana pudding and more. The buffet will be served 5-9 p.m.

 

The price for adults will be $13.99 (plus tax and gratuity), child 6-12 $6.99 (plus tax and gratuity), and children under 5 eat free.

Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park is on KY Hwy 1833. The resort is 25 miles northwest of Hazard, within the Elk Corridor. Buckhorn Lake features a lodge with 36 rooms, cottages, a convention center, Bowlingtown Country Kitchen Restaurant and gift shop. The park is located in 856 scenic acres on a 1,200-acre lake with boating and fishing, tennis courts, two miles of hiking trails and other recreational activities.

 

From I-75 North, exit to I-64 East, exit at the Mountain Parkway, then exit at Campton and take KY 15 South, to KY 28 West, then KY Hwy 1833 to park entrance. 

From I-75 South, exit at the Hal Rogers Parkway, then to KY 15 North to KY 28 West, then to KY Hwy 1833 to park entrance.
