April Discounts Available At Kentucky State Park Lodges

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Spring discounts are continuing at select Kentucky State Resort Parks during April.

 

Guests can get lodge rooms for two consecutive nights for $99 or get a lodge room on Monday nights for $29 and $39 during April.

 

The $99 deal for two nights is good Sunday through Thursday at these parks: Lake Cumberland, Cumberland Falls, Buckhorn Lake and Natural Bridge. The offer is good any night at: Blue Licks Battlefield, Carter Caves, Dale Hollow Lake, General Butler, Greenbo Lake, Kenlake, Lake Barkley, Pennyrile Forest, Pine Mountain and Rough River Dam.

The “Monday Madness” offer for $29 during April is available at Blue Licks Battlefield, Buckhorn Lake, Carter Caves, General Butler, Greenbo Lake, Kenlake, Pennyrile Forest, Pine Mountain and Rough River Dam. These parks are offering Monday night lodge rooms for $39: Lake Cumberland, Cumberland Falls, Dale Hollow Lake and Natural Bridge. Call the park or visit www.parks.ky.gov to make a reservation and use the promo code “MONDAY.”

All state park campgrounds open April 1, 2011. All state park campgrounds will be hosting the annual Camper Appreciation Weekend on April 29-May 1 with two nights for the price of one (pay for Friday night and get Saturday night free). Many parks will be holding special activities during this weekend for campers.

 

In addition to Camper Appreciation Weekend, there are campsites available during April. New camping reservations made for April 1-28 will get a 20 percent discount. (This is for online reservations only. Use the discount code “APR11.”)

All 17 state park restaurants will be offering an Easter Buffet on April 24.

 

Dozens of other events on wildlife watching, history, recreation and entertainment are offered at the Kentucky State Parks. There are more than 250 miles of trails throughout the park system that are perfect for short walks, viewing nature or more challenging all-day hikes.
