Transportation Cabinet Announces New Director of Office of Business and Occupational Development- Kenyari Moore Accepts Appointment

FRANKFORT, KY – (February 15, 2006) – Transportation Cabinet Secretary Bill Nighbert has appointed Kenyari Moore to serve as the Deputy Executive Director of the Office of Business and Occupational Development.

“Ms. Moore has shown exceptional leadership and has given the cabinet tangible results in her position as the Policy Advisor,” said Secretary Nighbert. Ms. Moore has succeeded in administering the cabinet’s new scholarship program with Kentucky State University and I am confident that her skills and her determination will continue to bring results in her new position stated Secretary Nighbert.

“I am honored to continue my service with the cabinet,” said Ms. Moore. “I am grateful to the Secretary for envisioning goals that would bring promise to all Kentuckians. I am proud to be a part of a team that is working towards making his vision a reality.”

Ms. Moore is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Kentucky State University where she served as President of the student body and as Student Regent on the Board of Regents. Ms. Moore earned her Bachelors of Arts in English with a Minor in Creative Writing.
