Interstate 75 to undergo pothole repair Friday

Northbound and southbound lanes in Fayette County temporarily closed

FRANKFORT, Ky.  (Feb 3, 2011) – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) maintenance crews will close two lanes Friday along a portion of Interstate 75 in southern Fayette County for pothole repair.

The middle and right lanes will be closed from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. between the 98 and 104 mile points.  Maintenance will begin on the southbound lanes with work on northbound lanes taking place later Friday.

Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination and to exercise caution when driving through the work areas.
