- ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: KY 3294 in Boyd County to be closed Wednesday, Jan. 17
Friday, January 12, 2007 Due to excessive rainfall runoff, the sewer line installation originally planned for Monday, Jan. 8 that was to have resulted in the closure of KY 3294 in Boyd County did not take place. That work has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 17. KY 3294 will be closed at its intersection with Collins Road at milepoint 1.46 for the project.

Tuesday, August 29, 2006 Governor Ernie Fletcher’s vision to provide a safe and reliable highway network for Kentucky is driving additional funding for roadway improvements across the commonwealth. Governor Fletcher and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet recently announced a $599,002.83 contract for two asphalt resurfacing projects in Greenup County.

Thursday, August 17, 2006 Just in time for the annual covered bridge festival, the Goddard Covered Bridge in Fleming County is now fully restored. Governor Ernie Fletcher’s Executive Cabinet Secretary, Robbie Rudolph, was joined by Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials and local and state leaders in Flemingsburg today to mark the completion of the restoration project.

An emergency appropriation of $124,786 has been authorized for construction of the new bridge, located 1.38 miles east of US 60.
