KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET DISTRICT 8 ANNOUNCES ROAD CLOSURE

    SOMERSET, KY (January 26, 2006)--The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s District 8 office announces that KY 100 in Cumberland County  will be closed due to the recent flash flooding at the site of the temporary detour on the KY 100 bridge replacement project.
    KY 100 will be closed to through traffic at MP 3.1 at the intersection of KY 3115.  This closure is effective immediately and will remain closed until the completion of the project.
   Traffic will be detoured to KY 3115 and KY 90. 

  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s District 8 office advises traffic to use caution in this area and to expect delays.
