US 25 in Scott County to be closed for repairs

LEXINGTON, KY (July 15, 2005)—The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways announces that US 25 in Scott County is scheduled to be closed on Thursday, July 21, 2005.  The closure will occur at milepoint 9.4 near Gemini Trail between the hours of 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM and is necessary to allow for the replacement of a cross drain.

All work will be performed by Department of Highways personnel.  Appropriate signs, barrels, and other traffic control devices will be used to alert motorists of the closure.  No detour will be assigned.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the closure, and to utilize safe driving habits.

Construction and Maintenance activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
