FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Boyle County

 

KY 1856, Mitchellsburg-Perryville Road, to close for drainage repairs

 

LEXINGTON, KY (October 3, 2006) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways announces that KY 1856 (Mitchellsburg-Perryville Road) will be closed between Lamb Road and Webster Road on Monday, October 9, 2006.

 

The closure is necessary to allow for the replacement of a crossdrain at the intersection of KY 1856 and Harbison Lane, and will occur between the hours of 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.  Appropriate signs, barrels and other traffic control devices will be in place to alert motorists of the closure.

 

All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
