Department of Highways to replace crossdrain on US 62 in Anderson County

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LEXINGTON, KY (July 28, 2005)—The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways announces that it will be replacing a crossdrain on US 62, Bardstown Road, at KY 1291, Fairview Road, in Anderson County, on Wednesday, August 3, 2005.

US 62 will remain open to traffic; however, motorists will experience delays in this area.  Appropriate traffic control devices and signage will be used to mark the work zone.  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks that motorists utilize safe driving habits when traveling in the work zone.

The Department of Highways will perform all work.  Maintenance activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
