Westport Rd KY1447 Traffic Advisory

Louisville, KY  (October 6, 2005) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces KY 1447 Westport Road will be reduced to one lane between Washburn Avenue and Hubbards Lane on Thursday, October 6, 2005. This lane closure will occur between 6:30 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. and allow for sight distance work.

Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed.  Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.  This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.  Slow Down to Get There!
