October 12, 2005 - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces a temporary right lane closure on northbound Interstate 65 on the John F. Kennedy Bridge over the Ohio River in Metro Louisville, Friday, October 14 through Saturday, October 15, 2005. This temporary right lane closure, between mile points 136 and 137, will occur between 8:00 p.m. Friday and 3:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, and is part of the bridge painting project. Speed limit will be reduced to 45 MPH with double work zone fines.
Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.
