Interstate 65 / Kennedy Bridge Traffic Advisory

Louisville, KY (September 27, 2005) - The District 5 Department of Highways office announces the temporary closure of the right lane on northbound Interstate 65 on the John F. Kennedy Bridge over the Ohio River. This lane closure, between mile points 136 and 137, is scheduled from 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 until 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2005, as part of the bridge painting project.

The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.
