Louisville Metro KY 22 Traffic Advisory

Louisville, KY (August 12, 2005)- The District 5 Department of Highways office announces temporary lane closures on eastbound and westbound KY 22 between Hurstbourne Parkway and Goose Creek Road. These lane closures will occur daily, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and will allow for tree trimming. The lane closures will begin on Monday, August 15, 2005 and will last for approximately three weeks.

The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.   Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed.  Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.  This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.  Slow Down to Get There!
