Interstate 71 Traffic Advisory

Louisville, KY (October 11, 2005) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces temporary right lane closures on northbound Interstate 71 in Jefferson and Oldham Counties as part of the I-71 resurfacing project. These lane closures are scheduled from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2005 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2005, and will allow for bridge deck repairs. 

The lane closures will occur on bridges at the following locations:
Northbound I-71 at the US 42 overpass in Jefferson County (mile point 6.2)
Northbound I-71 at the KY 329 overpass in Oldham County (mile point 14.5)
