Louisville, KY  (October 11, 2005) - The District 5 Department of Highways announces temporary lane closures on  northbound Interstate 65 in Metro Louisville, Tuesday through Thursday, October 11 - 13, 2005. The right two lanes of northbound I-65 between mile points 135 and 136, “hospital curve,” will be closed from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 , and 7:00 p.m. Wednesday to 6:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, to allow for clean up from last Friday’s semi-trailer accident.

Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed.  Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.  This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.  Slow Down to Get There!
