Interstate 65 Metro Louisville Traffic Advisory
Louisville, KY (November 18, 2005) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces temporary lane closures on Interstate 65 in Metro Louisville on Monday, November 21, 2005. The right lane of northbound I-65 between the Jackson St. bridge and the John F. Kennedy Bridge (MP 136 - 137) will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to allow for barrier wall repair. In addition, lane closures will occur on northbound I-65 in "hospital curve" (approximately MP 135.4 - 135.8) between 7:00 p.m. Monday, Nov.21 and 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 21 to allow for bridge repairs.
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.
