Interstate 265 Traffic Advisory

Louisville, KY  (October 11, 2005) - The District 5 Department of Highways announces a temporary right lane closure on  southbound Interstate 265 in Louisville Metro, Tuesday night, October 11, 2005. The right lane of southbound
I-265 at mile point 34, the Brownsboro Rd / KY22 bridge, will be closed from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, to 2:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, to allow for bridge deck repair.

Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed.  Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.  This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.  Slow Down to Get There!
